Mr. Peia I am not sure about the spelling of his name. He was the Youth Activities Director (Community Coach) in Curundu, for many years. He ran the Little League program, the Summer Pool program, the Bowling program, and any other sports program for the kids of Curundu. He was the force behind all the Fairs we had in Curundu, to raise monies, during the 1950's, to build our own swimming pool. Before Curundu had its own pool, he would take us to the Fort Clayton and Albrook AFB swimming pools every summer. |
