Parada Grosso Girls These are photographs of my Great Grandmothers, Enriqueta Grosso de Parada, daughters. Amparo Catalina (my grandmother) on violin, Debora Enriqueta (Bila) on piano, Rosa Maria on the guitar, & Mercedes, seated with the mandolin. Enriqueta (Mamaqueta) had five daughters (one of them, Ida, died when she was 12 years old. She had six sons, not pictures. Juan (Juancho), Miguel de Jesus, Enrique, Antonio (Toņo), Dimas and Joselin. Photo taken before 1916. |
